Emilio Pucci's Vampire Hunter Sex Appeal

Piercing black-lined eyes, chunky chokers with a cross pendant, lots of sexy lace, silk and smart blazers in primary vampire colours - red and black, made me think of dark Gothic times, Romania and popular Japanese anime series - Vampire Hunter D.

Emilio Pucci's Spring Summer 2012 collection had models look like the walking dead with giant maxi skirts that resembled a flamenco dancer's.

Vampire brides ready to be sacrificed, all dressed in virginal white and elegant see-through lace dresses and tops.

Dark is the night where not even the moon will rise when these Emilio Pucci babes walk the streets in sharply tailored blazers, smoky eye-shadow, skull tops and oozing vampire seduction in plunging necklines, revealing neck, collarbones and leaving little to one's imagination in Emilio Pucci's Spring Summer 2012 collection.

Away from traditional multicoloured, boring geometric prints that once belonged to the signature Pucci look, Oslo-born Norwegian designer at Emilio Pucci, Peter Dundas, used plenty of lace, beading, crochet and embroidery to reveal the sexiness of vamps with bare midriffs and peek-a-boo négligée-like dresses.

Peter Dundas was appointed the artistic director at Emilio Pucci since 2008 and was lauded for introducing a more sinister, younger and more sophisticated edge into the brand.

Peter Dundas has worked for Christian Lacroix, Jean Paul Gaultier, Roberto Cavalli and Emanuel Ungaro.

i-D Magazine Racist 'Year of the Dragon' Take on Chinese New Year

Squinty eyes - check, evil doll face - check, bad hairstyle - check, granny's oufit - check.

What were the i-D magazine editorial team thinking when they decided on a Chinese New Year themed issue when everything was badly styled, the Chinese culture was portrayed twisted and the magazine launch date was a cool 9 Feb when Chinese New Year for 2012 fell on January 23.

Chinese model Meng Lu looks absurd with blue eyebrows and yellow eyeshadow. I absolutely hate the deliberate red dot of cheek blusher and red lipstick applied only to the center of the lips to achieve an awkward China doll face.

This model was instructed to look down and have her eyes look smaller than they actually are - perpetuating the stereotype of Chinese squinty eyes. The pink pom-poms look like they belong to the powder puff department or accessories on a lion dance puppet.

The i-D magazine "The Year of the Dragon" issue covers were absolutely appalling, one after another succeeded in portraying Chinese women as backwards, tribal, cavewoman, prehistoric, rural, squinty eye aliens.

Amanda Seyfried is featured on the new revamped cover of Glamour fashion magazine (US edition) in what looks like a shredded granny's tablecloth that happens to cost millions and is made by designer Pierre Balmain.

Amanda Seyfried looks hot as usual. However, the new revamped cover looked as if anyone witthout design skills could do it. I do like the change of sickening pink to bright yellow for the Glamour title though.

Amanda Seyfried strikes a fierce feline pose in a studded lime green versace tube dress looking all hot and amazing with her new goldilocks hair colour and bright red lipstick.

Painting nails has never been so fun as our lovely young starlet Amanda Seyfried demonstrates this on a bar-top counter in a hot pink dress full of cleavage and a pair of towering Christian Louboutins as seen on Lindsay Lohan.

The way to go forward if you're dressed in dull and boring - your mother's high waisted denim shorts and a boring pink camisole is to glam up your make-up and hair style.

Ginta Lapina is back in the Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) cosmetics campaign again, this time for the YSL Spring Look 2012 cosmetics campaign featuring candy and bubble-gummed coloured lipstick and eye-shadow palettes.

Lloyd Simmons, Creative Director of Yves Saint Laurent Make-up said his inspiration for the YSL Spring Look 2012 cosmetics collection were summer fruits such as melon and pomegranates and colourful rock candies.

Below is the complete YSL Spring 2012 cosmetics collection (except for blush as I swear by Chanel for that)

YSL Spring 2012 make-up collection: 'Vinyl Candy' eye-shadow palette. I am very excited about this the colours - pinkish purple and the bluish purple as both colours are great for highlighting and accentuating Asian eyes. The lavender and cherry blossom pink serves as perfect highlighters for the area under the brow and the round (above your eyelid) of the eye.

YSL classic 5-colour eye shadow palette - Ombre 5 Lumieres introduced in a new Spring 2012 shade No13. Personally, I would not go for this eye-shadow palette as the colours are too light. I prefer going for an eye-shadow palette with a good mix of dark and light colours for duo purposes - lining and highlighting.

I am not a big fan of nail polish as I deem these harmful to my already brittle nails. However, the orange sorbet and melon colour have caught my attention. I will not be getting the nail polish as annoyingly, the shades I want are from different sets and that would mean I would have to get both!

Fashion Spotlight: Gemstone Bustiers, Dolce&Gabbana Spring Summer 2012

Gemstone embellished, sheer lace, beaded bauble knickers, rising hemlines on large floral print dresses, sexy sheer Pollyanna inspired dress, great for kicking your shoes off and running in endless grassy meadows. These are the only few runway items I liked from the Dolce&Gabbana Spring Summer 2012 runway show.

At the end of the runway show, the models did their classic encore walk-through in lingerie, Dolce&Gabbana style. This time however, innocent lace white undergarments or classic black lace granny lingerie gave way to super snazzy gemstone embellished corset worn by Polish model Magdalena Frackowiak and shiny fringed peek-a-boo skirts on Canadian veteran hottie model Jessica Stam, lace cut-outs on stunning platinum blonde Australian mode Abby Lee Kershaw, intricately put together piece worn by Joan Smalls, a Burberry Prorsum Fall Winter 2007-2008 Milan Fashion Week inspired warrior armour bustier with large matte black gems on Dutch model Bette Franke, a beautiful matching gold beaded two piece lingerie worn by Latvian newcomer Ginta Lapina and the ruler of all runways - Natasha Poly and a sexy silver piece by Dutch newcomer and upcoming model Nimue Smit.

Dolce&Gabbana Wants You To Dress Like That Strange Old Woman

Pasta earrings dripping with coins, onion and tomato print lace trimmed bags and granny-cut-neckline dresses and skirts, crochet lace panties and sleeveless figure-obscuring granny tops. Even the youthful Anja Rubik looked aged at least twice her original age in the drab garb on the Dolce&Gabbana Spring Summer 2012 runway show.

Velvet shoes in light green, wicker picnic baskets painted in shaded of blue, gold and orange, oversized lace coats that looked moth-eaten with goant flower bulb prints that some might mistake as eggplants, large painted onion print bra and knickers and cucumber print matching top and bottoms, fabric shoes that look as if they were cut out from a worn-out smelly dog carpet, nude patent strapped sandals with a few randomly placed crystals all made the Dolce&Gabbana Spring Summer 2012 collection look cheap and tacky.

Welcome to the Dolce&Gabbana Spring Summer 2012 slumber party, complete with plush bunny pink velvet colour pumps, a see-through PVC wet market tote, wicker basket shoulder bag complete with all the condiments you can find on a pizza - garlic, pepper and chilli in the shape of charms. Risk looking like a Mongolian tribal dancer in a shearling and pom-pom trimmed dress that not even the sternest looking face of a model can help prevent any onlooker from laughing to death upon spotting an unfortunate soul in one of Dolce&Gabbana's worst creations to date.

Sink Into the Caribbean: D&G Dolce and Gabbana Spring Summer 2012

A whirlwind clash of colours is how I would describe D&G Dolce and Gabbana's Spring Summer 2012 runway collection. Every single piece of dress, pants, skirt, top, bikini or jumpsuit, be it knotted at the bust, waist or midriff, cinched as a belt or skirt or floating loosely at the hems like delicate petals of a wilting flower, was silk with beautiful Italian painting prints.

To complete the summer look, the D&G power designer duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana added their signature hints of denim to the fabric and matched each summer statement piece with a giant sombrero-inspired straw sun hat.

Jewellery influence from their parent brand Dolce and Gabbana's Fall Winter 2010 collection in the shape of traditional Italian gold coins could be seen in the form of earrings, choker necklaces, bracelets, chain trimmings for clutches and bags and even flat sandals.

Striking royal yellow and gold emblazon each and every piece be it a pastel peach silk dress or a sparkly emerald green dress that resembles a renaissance painting's frame.

The Spring Summer 2012 D&G Dolce and Gabbana collection reminds me of a grown-up girl in a candy shop. She is no longer a child but she still craves candy, fun and a playful yet sexy touch to her fashionable wardrobe.

One of my favourite models - 17 year old gap-toothed and pouty Lindsey Wixon in a Just Cavalli signature snakeskin print swimwear in bright and cheery spring colours. The swimming trunk for boys are equally cool in a repeated "Just Cavalli" logo print in light pink all over the bottom leg.

The laced-up patchwork long jackets are reminiscence of the Just Cavalli's parent line - Roberto Cavalli's Spring Summer 2011 runway collection which was neo-bohemian chic.

Style Secret: Prada Fall Winter 2011 Peach rimmed Yellow tinted Sunglasses

I am not usually a big fan of designer sunglasses and I do not pay much attention to such eye-wear campaigns. However, after viewing the Prada Fall Winter 2011 runway show with the dramatic, dark and futuristic notion, undertones and music, I was completely enthralled and taken in to Prada's Fall Winter collection of mystical fish and reptile creatures wearing oversized shades that resembled scuba diving masks.

I loved the dramatic python jackets in understated colours and fur trimmed coats accentuated with clumsy big buttons.

Strangely, I found balance in a little absurdness. The haunting video ad campaign tagline whispered in every Prada Fall Winter 2011 campaign video -

"...as one members of unknown species."

slogan has never left my mind ever since.

If you don't know who Phillipp Plein is, you are not alone. The 34 year old Munich born German fashion designer sells overpriced copies of apparels and accessories inspired by renowned fashion designers such as Dolce and Gabbana.

I was shocked to see an upcoming and hardly known outside of Germany designer selling T-shirts for a couple of hundred euros online. Perhaps he is trying to pull a Christian Audigier.

In 2009, Christian Audigier whom part of his fashion apparel success was owed to his "Celebrity Wear" concept or paying paparazzi to photograph celebrities such as Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Jessica Alba, Mariah Carey, Paris Hilton, Miley Cyrus, Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown, Usher, Madonna whom he had met in Los Angeles, published his autobiography: My American Dream: From the cities of Avignon, to the City of Angels.

In 2011, Christian Audigier sold the brand Ed Hardy to Iconix Brand Group Inc. for $ 62 million, following which, I have lost interest in the now mainstream for wannabe masses Ed Hardy label.

John Galliano New Fragrance: Parlez-Moi d’Amour Eau de Parfum

Ex-Dior designer John Galliano launched the second fragrance, Parlez-Moi d’Amour (Talk to me of Love) Eau de Parfum version in December 2011. I was happy to discover the new Parlez-Moi d’Amour in the John Galliano store near the Madeleine metro in Paris on the glitzy Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré street.

The new Parlez-Moi d’Amour Eau de Parfum (EDP) is in a darker shade of pink with a different floral stamp. The scent is said to suitable for a more mature audience. I find it quite similar to the previous Eau de Toilette (EDT) version which has a scent that quickly dissipates in less than an hour.

Although the Parlez-Moi d’Amour EDT version has a lighter, fruitier scent, the new EDP version has a stronger and deeper tone which lingers far longer than the youthful EDT version.

In the new Parlez-Moi d’Amour EDP ad campaign, my favourite actress cum talented singer Taylor Momsen, is featured once again in a hastily put together video done by Ellen von Unworth which I found not really appealing to the "older audience" but more towards the classic "teenagers trying to grow up faster and appear or smell older than they really are" audience.

The Parlez-Moi d’Amour EDP is available in 30ml, 50ml and 80 ml sizes. If you ever purchase a bottle, do let me know what you think of the EDP or EDT version.

Donatella Refused Real Women Wearing Any Versace for H&M collection

Donatella Versace disallowed any of her Versace for H&M collection apparel and accessory pieces to be photographed by New York Daily News using real women from New York City who were size 0 to 6.

Despite the models from New York Daily News being young - fresh college graduates and size 0 to 6, they were promptly denied the go-ahead from Versace's publicist as they did not fit the Versace brand's image.

Ironically, this Versace for H&M collection was designed for real women or commonfolk - anyone who loves fashion or casual streetwear.

Daily Mail Fashion Director Liz Jones commented on Versace's decision and said that is was at odds with H&M's usual, democratic approach to fashion.

Liz told MailOnline: 'This is so typical of 99.9 per cent of designers: they only want their clothes worn by the very young and the very thin.

"This is because the clothes are probably not cut well, not in great fabrics, have no corsetry or intricate draping. It takes a better designer with more skill to dress women who have a bit of shape."

H&M is know for bland and boring basic pieces to cater to the masses with the occassional few runway trend pieces or rare occasions of having a few good designs. However, the mass produced quantities oftentimes mean poor quality and ill-fitting apparels or accessories.

This move by Donatella Versace gives me no confidence at all to buy the ill fitting and gaudy designed dresses. Even supermodels Lindsey Wixon and Natasha Poly failed to look great in their leather head wrap and over-coloured black eyes.

Look what came in the mail! Ok, my Jil Sander over-the-knee boots came in the mail last week but still, the excitement level has not died out yet.

This pair of classy over-the-knee boots is a winter classic staple to keep warm and snug and give you the understated cool look at the same time. This boots can be worn fold over and hangs loose at the thigh like inverted funnels if you wear them over the knee. The buttery soft leather smells awesome! However, it does not smell as good as a pair of Prada Sports nappa leather goatskin boot. The fit and the calf is a little too tight. For ladies with muscular calves, beware ASH boots as well. The tall boots will give you an extra tight squeeze they may cut off your blood circulation from your calf to the rest of your body after a while!

The annoying thing about leather boots is that after a few incidents of passer-bys' accidental stepping on the tip of your boot, or either you accidentally cut or graze the leather by hitting a rough wall, corner or rocky side-walk you an be sure a whole will start forming on the tip of your lovely leather boots. Otherwise, scars and scratches over time may simply reveal horrible white scratches on your black leather boots.

And if you get a light coloured pair of boots - beige, taupe, cream, white, be prepared for stains and splotches!

Beware of ASOS: Online Fashion Retailer Bungles Up Your Orders

I have had 3 incredible encounters with ASOS. When I say "incredible" in this post, it means astoundingly appalling. What's notable about my negative encounters with ASOS is that all three of them happened in a short span of 4 months! If you had similar encounters with online retailers or e-tailers like ASOS, please share them here.

Encounter 1: ASOS sent me my Miss Sixty Check mini Prom Dress in the wrong colour - a colour they did not even display or sell on the ASOS website! When I contacted them, they gave the usual excuse that the item I wanted had sold out and all they could do was a refund. What a hassle and total disappointment it was for me.

My lovely Pour La Victoire Women's Lissa Open-Toe Bootie just came in today! I was a little anxious when I opened the parcel but was very pleased when I actually witnessed the actual boots right in front of my very own eyes. They were far more exquisite and well-made than I had thought - the shiny patent leather, unique boat-like front platform and narrow tapered heel. The zip worked easily up and down and it fitted just fine at size 7.5 (US) or 37.5 (Europe) although I was a 8 (US) or 38 (Europe). Walking around this tottering 4.75 inch heels was surprisingly easy with the 1.25 inch platform at the front.

What made me decide to purchase this pair of booties even when I hesitated much looking at the dwindling funds in my bank account was how cool, stylish and classy this classic little number gave me at my first impression. Recently, I had noticed a pair of Alexander McQueen-like curved heel, claw-like boots on one of my favourite celebrities Lindsay Lohan as seen on Daily Mail.

Front of boots. Love the way how Lindsay Lohan pairs a wide belt with a statement buckle, in this case a friggin' huge Channel logo, to break the monotonous black outfit.

The pair of Pour La Victoire Open-Toe Bootie also reminded me of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen's simple but effortlessly glamorous style which I simply adore too. This gives me some excuse to post some pics of them XD

No, actually not if you are going to venture out on the frozen Norwegian landscape off the roads in winter.

If you are heading to Oslo for a short city-trip holiday or will be chauffeured or helicoptered around, then these boots are made for your Nordic winter "walking".

Nordic prints or "Fair Isle" have made a comeback this year in the fashion trend scene where knitwear, coats, gloves, ear-muffs, sweaters, socks and cardigans are all embellished with snowflakes. reindeer and pom-poms.

Boots are a staple footwear for winter as they keep your feet and legs nice, snug and warm. The taller the better if you ask me which type of boots I prefer. Layering them over tight jeans, pants or my favourite - wool leggings and another layer of patterned leggings over the wool leggings for an extra dash of fashion and comfort (warmth).

I have decided to purchase a new pair of boots for my Nordic expedition this winter and will be sharing with everyone my actual purchase and what I would really wear - usually a tough choice between fashion and comfort and in the end, I would have to compromise.

Vanessa Bruno clothings have always been pretty bland and boring - Parisian style clothes that match much of England's perennial dull and gray skies or Paris's dusty grey streets in winter.

This fall, Vanessa Bruno has enlisted the help of Stephanie di Giusto to direct a short film featuring the beautiful Hollywood star Kate Bosworth titled LØV for her fall winter 2011 collection.

No doubt Kate Bosworth has her looks rooted in Scandinavian heritage with her piercing blue eyes and blonde hair, however, this did no help to make the Vanessa Bruno fall-winter collection stand out in any shape or form. I was more drawn to the short little puzzling story which ended in a standard love scene..

Heart-warming and lovely the Norwegian landscape may be, the clothes resembled oversized coats with boring granny knits and patterns with unflattering fur collared trimmings in bear brown and beige colours. The only pattern observed in the collection was thick, broad stripes in earthy shades of browns and beige that made even the skinniest runway models look boxy and fat.

Yes, this is what I am going to wear for winter when I head to Europe at the end of this year. I will be sharing my recent actual purchases in my own style with everyone else from today onwards so you will know what's in my closet :)

I am a chronic, hopeless fashion shopaholic and the only way to save myself from a spiralling black-hole of debt is to either wait for items to expire in my online shopping cart or disappear from the retail shelves which happen oh-too-quickly at leading retailers and fashion brand owners.

However, there are some classic key pieces which I would not hesitate to get my paws on immediately and I will share my "carefully" thought out purchases here from time to time.

This winter, gold will be the shiny, sparkling colour to bring cheer to an otherwise white and grey winter landscape. Gold in the form of shiny leggings, velvet or sequin pants is the way forward for me. If gold sequins are a bit too daring for you, do try black sequin pants instead. I find the cropped sequinned pants more versatile for squishing into over-the-knee boots in winter or pairing with a pair of heels for a night out during non winter months than compared to full length sequinned pants.

I was not particulary looking forward to the Kanye West Spring Summer 2012 collection at Paris Fashion week as I thought it would probably be some Adidas or Nike sports apparel X Fashion lookalike outfits in garish neons and loads of spandex.

Very much the opposite of what I had guessed, Kanye West has outdone himself with this outstanding ultra-confident, no-nonsense type feminine character which I immediately thought of - A Milla Jovovich equivalent of a comic idol - Danger Girl.

Despite much flak and poor reviews from countless fashion hags who rather prefer to dress in their granny's pants, Kanye West was spot on key trends of the season with gold pants, shiny lurex tight pants and velvet jumpers, colour-blocking, adorable fur tail accessories, python print silver jeans, knits in shiny gold and metallic shades, origami folds in his pants and tops, as well as the classic black dress brought back in skin-tight form with dramatic plunging necklines cut into sharp geometric angles. One black dress that was cleverly made to look like a separate vest and skirt combo with a plunging neckline even featured two zips naughtily positioned at the waist for that extra kinky factor.

I hate to say this but I am looking forward to Kanye West's next collection after his simple but astounding debut at Paris fashion week Spring Summer 2012 which earned all the right hits.

Versace for H&M collection - Gaudy, Shapeless, Tranny-tastic

The H&M collaboration with Versace designer Donatella Versace is probably as disastrous looking as the designer herself at times. Reminiscence of the era when her brother used to take lead on the Versace designs in the 80s of the era of the long bygone past, loud, gaudy, colour clashing prints in jarring neon pink, green and yellow with high-necked shapeless shift dresses and neck wrinkle concealing huge chunky gold necklaces with oversized Versace medallion just screamed tacky and so awful. Skinny models look like they were drowning in the oversized, shapeless leather jackets with gold stud details. The clothes seem to be wearing the wearer and not the other way round.

Turning stunning Australian model Abby Lee Kershaw into a 60-year old granny (Elegant ladies like Helen Mirren would never wear this!) was an easy feat with the overbleached white hair, black granny cardigan in floral print and horrible leopard print skirt design with a picture of a sunset palm beach in the middle.

There might still be a few pieces that are salvageable but boring - E.g. plain black corset madonna-inspired dress. I am confident that this H&M X Designer (Versace) collection that I have been looking forward too for months is definitely striked out of my to-do list.

You can only really feel and appreciate the warmth in winter when you are surrounded by all the cold, when
everything is painted snow white and you exhale white smoke when you breathe.

Winter or the end of the year is the best time to retrace the steps you have taken for the entire year and start counting your misfortunes and blessings with a open, honest mind. Time to do some soul searching now that the end of the year is near. What could you have done better this year or another year has passed with you and your beloved one and what would you do to make your relationship better and stronger?

I love winter, and Francesco Scognamiglio has chosen the correct pallet of colours for this winter - Faded rose pink and beiges, creams, wintry grey and whites. Francesco Scognamiglio has also chosen an abundance of frills, folds, wavy patterns on trousers, lace, crochet, a stunning metal gold rose belt with gold thorns on the arm holes matched with thigh-high strappy sequinned boots.

The colour for me this winter will defintely be beige and pale pinks. I would gladly step away from dark and gloomy black and grays.

Winter is a time for reflection and a time to rekindle the warmth of love again.

John Rocha's Fall Winter 2011 - 2012 collection was filled with an eclectic mix of everything wild and romantic. Soft romantic lace and linen, draped silk tops contrasted with dark chunky knits, huge fur collars and metallic gold and silver strapped platform boots.

I love the braided hair on the models, bleached blond with pale skin and red lips. John Rocha's Neo-Red Indian inspired tough and yet fragile at the same time collection is inspired by the wild untamed spirit of those who are forever young at heart.

Billowy black silk pants, transparent, huge and roomy was paired with a long fur vest and leather boots with shiny heels - another remarkable mix of toughness and softness again.

Mulberry breaches the borders of boredom not just with their Bayswater granny bags but their clothings line too. One model looked shocked when she realised she was on the runway at the Mulberry Fall Winter 2011-2012 show and not lounging around her house in a comfy granny wear. Dogs were sent on the runway accompanying models on the catwalk with the designer hoping that people might get distracted with the cute creature and forget how bad the clothes looked. Adorable birds that looked like a page from a bird lover's collection was printed all over a dull grayish brown dress. Lovely shades of turquoise green got killed instantly when it was made into long, neck-less dresses coupled with matching colour handbags and boots.

At Oscar De La Renta Fall Winter 2010-2011, I had a hard time deciding which look was the Frumpiest of them All. The models in the Oscar De La Renta Fall Winter 2010-2011 clad in disastrous 40s garbs, reminded me of mindless & clueless bimbos with garish makeup more often than so being attacked and killed in the back streets.

Stumbling down the runway in frumpy clothes, resembling bloodsucking evil grannies, I marvel at how the hair, makeup and clothes by Oscar De La Renta make 20 year old models look 60.

Models at the Rodarte show resembled pirate ghosts who suffered a pathethic fate of drowning in a shipwreck instead of valiant battle. Scraggly rags hung loose to formless bodies like bleached seaweed on a menhir.

There was a lot going on in the layered outfits at Angelo Marani Fall Winter 2010-2011, but with controlled colour tones to keep the balance in check. Large men's wool hats and ghetto style simple black beanies punctuated girly lace and sheer silk tops, skirts and dresses with a slight contrasting edgy feel.

"Hot" velvet bra anyone? Gosh, imagine how itchy and hot in must be to be in one of those bizarre furry creations brainchild of none other than Taiwanese designer and genius Alexander Wang who earned cult status quickly for God knows what.

Making even the invincible Natalia Vodianova look fat? That must be really bad tailoring + poor materials used Wang. Watch those bulges and bunching cloth on Natalia's midriff as she makes her way down the runway in totally "hot"Alexander Wang Fall Winter 2010-2011 garb.

To add to the "Oomph" (sex appeal?) of Alexander Wang's ultra sexy collection, a custom bear skin loincloth can be found just above your belly under what appears to be a super cropped mini pinstripe suit.

I marvel at how he squashes supermodel's hotness one after another. Natasa Poly actually looks completely un-sexy and freak-ballish for once in what what looks like a double layered gray sweatpants + oversized granpa's camel cigarette smelling coat.

Alexander Wang also successfully made Agyness Deyn look like a member of the Adam's family.

Apart from half of the hot mess above, Alexander Wang attempts to rip off other designers but fails miserably at doing so.

Notice half a mess of tangled kelp on your face hairdo is a so badly copied McQueen style?

Alexander Wang's other attempt to pull off another top designer stunt which he obviously failed miserably - a Stella McCartney last season's lacey camisole top which he ran out of more material resulting in cheesy tit exposure.

It was literally a "hot" mess at Alexander Wang Fall Winter 2010-2011, New York Fashion Week 2010.

Kenzo's Fall Winter 2009-2010's inspiration was taken directly from the wintry escapade Russia. The clothes take the form of the great Russian bear with bulky fur sleeves & collars, huge fur pockets for vests and even a pinstripe jacket.

Pretty rose, floral, fruit & vine prints were sported on dresses, jackets, coats, suits and shawls, which made me thought of humble Russian peasants working in the fields for an honest living.

Some floral and harvest print pieces were lavishly embellished with hundreds of beads, stones, and semi precious gems.

The focal point of the Kenzo Fall Winter collection for me would be the lovely floral silk scarves that added a pop of colour and romantic feel to the mostly deep, dark and dull coloured bitter winter tones of a harsh Russian winter collection.

Her slantly cat eyes and small pert lips are in stark contrast with her strong, broad facial structure gives her her unique, harsh look. Fashion photographers have yet to discover her versatile look. Tough at work, tough at play too. Designer Alessia Giacobino of label Jo no Fui expresed her dark, rocker chick yet feminine look at her Fall Winter 2009-2010 collection. The Italian designer described her collection as "Straight silhouettes, neat cut and very clean and slim lines". Embellished chains, sequins, vintage lace, burnished gold diamond metals on dresses, shearling lined, chain laced leather riding boots, plaid fringe oversized shirt dresses, Balmain looking stud & gem laden shoes are just some of the precious finds in Jo no Fui Fall Winter 2009-2010 collection.

Somebody take me to Italy now.

Take Heart in the Corporate Jungle of A Workplace. If looks could kill, sharp and expert tailoring at Brioni Autumn Winter 2009-2010 in Milan would. The Italian fashion house since 1945 first started out in menswear and the immaculate masculine tailoring still influences even the women's wear line in the Autumn Winter 2009-2010 collection.

Warped leather blouses, wide and elaborate collars, prints that resemble a steel sheet covers, classic coats and skirts with urban twists, a teeny weeny bit of Rick Owens flavour but 99.9% of the remainder was essence of stately Brioni.

Crisp blazers, strong shoulders filled the Brioni Autumn Winter 2009-2010 runway. There's something so clinical and pristine about the cuts and lines at Brioni that makes one lose their breath when they see these masterpieces.

Here are some of my favorite picks from the Maison & Objet 2009 Trade Show in Paris. Crying Buddha, Frankenstein's palm, macabre & plush gothic armchairs of bone, tusks and velvet, marble and ivory side table that was shaped like a hundred year old tree's gnarled root, tree trunks caught in their last living moment in acrylic as coffee tables.

Dark is the hour and midnight rose that thrives on the chest of these women.
It was as if the Giant, Bloody & Jet Black Rosettes on the woman's bosoms were calling out to you and taunting "If you want my heart, come and get it."

Siren red was the choice colour for she who rules the night
They moved along swiftly without feet as their long black trumpet skirts that shimmered with an unearthly sheen ruffled the silent ground. The eyes of the vamps glintered as if they were beckoning to you "Madamme, May I have your neck?"

Black & crimson red ribbon confetti sprinkled all over dresses like dark blood spilt over white chiffon. And suddenly, without a warning, the black & harsh red dissolved into dewy taupe and then emerald greens while the girls retained their solemn look, as tough as a thorn.

The colours started shifting rapidly into a medly of orange sorbet and pastel green before melting into the shade of cream antique roses.

How intelligent it is of Zuhair Murad to revisit the classic rose theme when most designers would avoid in his Fall Winter 2009-2010 collection.

It Was All About Going Back to Roots of Our Origin at Alessandro Dell Acqua Spring Summer 2010 as the designer embraced white suede boots, robes, fringes, cardigans, dresses, tops and belts in tribal style formed from natural-looking, traditionally woven fabrics such as hemp, jute and bamboo.

As you gaze at the models parading down in Alessandro Dell Acqua's Spring Summer 2009 collection, look harder and the soft beige center stage will give way to the lush green backdrop of a centuries old rainforest, filled with active volcanoes, carnivorous plants, spider monkeys, ample supply of plantain (banana trees), forest berries, tree frogs and loads of enchanting and exotic tropical adventures.

One thing Dell'Acqua will never forget is his image of sexy women his weak spot for lingerie now styled in peek-a-boo form in colours of volcanic ash and warm tones of mother earth.

As the Alessandro Dell Acqua's Spring Summer 2009 show came drawing to an end, the model clothes became stained black like hot lava that oozed to quickly onto the cool surface air, solidifying and darkening to a charred black. The models, resembling a procession of tribes, worn a face that can be only described as sacrificial brides-to-be for appeasing the constant wrath of the restless mountain gods.

Girls who don Angelo Marani's Spring Summer 2009 collection are like Crystalline Cocoons turning into Beautiful, Brightly Coloured Butterflies as they frolic in dresses with threads of golden sunset lurex, bold blue-golds, green-golds, pinks & purples, ethnic embroidery, Italian lace, tiny sequins and red velvet trimmings. The models sashayed down the runway in key looks such as sequin buttefly bibs & bodices on the chest and romantic lace florals.

Angelo Marani's Spring collection embodies a hippie, bohemian dream come true with all the colours of the Garden of Eden and how a lovely girl blossoms into a woman just like the metamorphosis of a butterfly.
